Visst är bilden bekant - omslag till Girlfriend in a coma. Shelagh Delaney, pjäsförfattare som slog igenom 20 år gammal med A taste of honey. Diskbänksrealism (i Salford). En genre praktiskt taget unheard of 1959 i Storbritannien. Shelagh Delaney blev en massiv influens och inspirationskälla för Moz. Hon "går igen" i många av hans texter. Några fina exempel:
"I dreamt about you last night, and I fell out of bed twice" (Reel around the fountain)
"As merry as the day is long" (You've got everything now)
"I'll go out and get a job tomorrow / you needn't bother" (Still ill)
"Oh well, the dream's gone, but the baby's real enough" (This night has opened my eyes)
"Sing me to sleep" (Asleep)
Och nu är Shelagh Delaney borta. Men pjäserna lever vidare.
